 | ATTENDANT SERVICE ........................................................................................... The attendant service is the most simple and effective way of dealing with short to medium term parking issues and involves the use of a highly professional and competent attendant patrol service. To ensure the success of this scheme, the business will display clearly worded and professionally prepared signage at prominent points throughout the car park and at entry and exit points. The signs let unauthorised users know the terms upon which the car park is managed, usually by a maximum time allowed basis or use only by employees, clients, visitors and delivery vehicles to the site. To facilitate this scheme, numbered car parking permits may be issued, which are to be displayed in authorised vehicle windscreens. Once the parking conditions have been established, the mobile parking attendant will patrol the site at designated times, not only ensuring photographic images are taken of offending vehicles but also adding a highly visible deterrent to vandalism, theft and car park abuse. The attendant’s presence will also ensure that disabled car parking bays are not abused. Once the attendant has identified offending vehicles they will send the image to the G24 processing centre complete with the date and time and brief details of the offence. Our automatic service will then obtain the driver’s details as with ANPR. |
